Rituals of Loneliness was a series of online workshops commissioned by FACT Gallery working with a group of adults and young people from Liverpool during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown in 2021.
The project culminated in an exhibition of moving image outcomes based on the following questions:
What have we done that has made us feel less lonely? What have we shared? What things did we choose to protect? What have we lost? What have we learnt?
Heat 1 & 2 collage digital scans of a 1964 16mm Public Broadcast Announcements produced for the Home Office to be broadcast in the case of nuclear attack alongside excerpts from transcripts of our zoom session conversations.
