Making Routes (2016 - 2017) was a creative partnership between Oasis Play (Oasis), Battersea Arts Centre (BAC) and the South London Gallery (SLG) funded by Spirit of 2012. I was one of nine (disabled and non-disabled) artists working across the three sites, as well as at the Pelican Estate, which neighbours South London Gallery.
The workshops culminated in a festival across all three sites, as well as the 'Alien Garden' Halloween party at Oasis Play Adventure Garden. My input to this project was focussed on embodiment, gender, and magic alongside discovering 'alien' and gender non-conforming bodies in the natural environment.
